What is Microsfot exchange Microsoft Exchange Server is Microsoft's email, calendaring, contact, scheduling and collaboration platform. It is deployed on the Windows Server operating system (OS) for business use. Microsoft designed Exchange Server to give users access to the messaging platform from mobile devices, desktops and web-based systems.

Connecting to your Microsoft Exchange account (web client and Desktop App)

1. On the web client and Desktop App, click your user name, and then click Settings.
2. Click the Extensions tab.
3. Locate the Microsoft Exchange extension, and then click Connect.
4. Select an Authentication method from the drop-down menu

To determine the version of Exchange that your account connects to, do the following: With Microsoft Outlook running, press and hold CTRL while you right-click the Outlook icon in the notification area, at the far right of the taskbar. Click Connection Status. Move the horizontal slider all the way to the right.
