Micro exchange server  Microsoft Exchange Server is Microsoft's email, calendaring, contact, scheduling and collaboration platform. It is deployed on the Windows Server operating system (OS) for business use. Microsoft designed Exchange Server to give users access to the messaging platform from mobile devices, desktops and web-based systems.

Exchange Server enables a company's users to securely access communications like e-mail messages, voice mail, instant messaging and SMS text messages from their desktops, Web browsers or mobile devices. 

The online version of Microsoft Outlook or the version of Outlook that comes with Office 365 to manage your email, calendar, contacts, tasks and notes. You do not need a separate license of Microsoft Exchange Server to send, receive or manage mail from your Microsoft Webmail account.
